Tushingham is a dedicated watersports distribution company with over 30 years’ experience in the watersports industry. We take pride in our service and supply only the products we regard as the very best of their kind and that we ourselves would use.

 

Our history has been as varied as it has been successful. Tushingham Sails was founded in 1977 by Roger Tushingham, an ex-international dinghy racer, as a manufacturer of dinghy sails. After many years of crafting world beating sails, Roger and the team turned the focus onto the new sport’s craze of windsurfing. As the sport skyrocketed everyone wanted to get themselves the best kit and get out onto the water …and Tushingham was regarded as “the sail to get”.

In 1999 we decided to distribute Starboard windsurfing products as well as Tushingham Sails. This was a turning point for us as we realized distribution was really working. So then in 2007 we decided to open our arms to a new sport known as SUP (stand up paddleboarding) and expanded our relationship with Starboard working with them on not only windsurfing boards but now distributing these mysterious boards as well. We soon fell in love with the sport and realised the potential for SUP and rightly predicted it would become the next craze. A year later we partnered with Red Paddle Co expanding the amount and variety of SUP products we were able to distribute.

We shifted our focus in 2013, when we began distributing a world beating sail brand - Severne. From then on it was decided we would dedicate ourselves purely to watersports distribution. The rest, as they say, is history.
